Different then a graphic novel, THE GLEANING TIME is an end times Christian story that tells of five very special young people who are chosen by and sent of the Holy Spirit to "glean" after The Harvest of the Rapture. They are given powers to represent the Full Armor of God--and are called "The Full Armor Team."
Written like a manga/anime style story, the characters are diversely different in background with one common thread....to gather the multitudes prophesied in Revelation for the final battle and the New Heaven and Earth...

STORY OVERVIEW
The time is the Tribulation, following the occurrence known as The Rapture—the Antichrist, a man named Isaac Abram is leading a one-world government that touts a message of unity and harmony except in the case of those he feels a threat to his vision. He’s to the point of having the entire world believing him to be the Savior of the world.
The world is in chaos and the blame for that is on those who believe in God and Christ as Savior. The Bride is gone and so is the Holy Spirit except in the few brave ones who had heard the message before and hesitated so they were left behind. These brave souls also have refused to have The Mark—a form of identification derived from the mass disappearances that all are required to take. Because of their refusal, the Unified World Force hunt these down for execution.
One of those left behind was Daniel Roccque, a former pastor whose transgressions and his refusal to repent lost him his church and his family but most importantly, he discovered he had not really been saved. After witnessing the fulfilling of the prophecies of the Bible come to pass, he got down on his knees and asked for God’s forgiveness for his past then truly accepted Christ and pledged his life to do the Will of God to bring those who desired salvation to righteousness. Having been an ordained pastor with a doctorate in divinity and a masters degree in biblical studies, he knew what had taken place. But when he tried to explain it to the authorities, he was branded a traitor and became an enemy to the Unified World Council, and Isaac Abram which caused him to be a fugitive.
One day, while he had found a cave in a thick wilderness in which to hide from his pursuers, he discovered three young people, two young men and a girl who had also cast their lots by accepting Jesus and were also being sought for execution. Little did Daniel know the plan God had him and the group, which included among other things, a reunion with his son, Peter, now a grown young man who stumbles upon their hiding place and is asked to join the group. He and the group find another member, a girl about to be executed and she too becomes part of God’s plan for this little group. He gained the trust of all the youths and then began teaching them to pray with power and to know the Word and its meaning, his identity still remaining unknown to his son.
During one session of prayer, the group was visited by a powerful supernatural manifestation of the Holy Spirit which had spoken to the group of the upcoming battle of Armageddon and the task before them, to gather those who would hear the Truth and accept it. Before He left, He gave each of the young people a weapon from the Full Armor (Ephesians 6:11-17). To Peter He gave the Sword of the Spirit—a saber of Pure Light with the power to cut through anything including all evil. To Joshua He gave the Shield of Faith and Gird of Truth with the power to defeat the fiery darts or any weapon formed against them. To Angelica He gave the Breastplate of Righteousness and purified her divination skills from her former involvement with dark powers to skills of extraordinary discernment to make her the receiver of special messages for the team from Him either through prayer or by special visions or dreams she has. To John He gave the Shoes of the Gospel of Peace and because of his complete faith, empowered him with a gift of intercessory prayer that tapped directly into the power from the Throne of Grace. If called upon in battle he can be as fierce as Peter and Joshua but he seeks peaceful resolution first. And finally, to Leah He gave the Helmet of Salvation, and the gift of seeing into a person’s heart with which she can be a vessel for Him to reach the lost. So they all came together and called themselves the Full Armor Team.
